About Me

Dr. Muhammad Zeshan

Dr. Muhammad Zeshan is a Research Fellow at the Pakistan Institute of Development Economics (PIDE), Islamabad, specializing in input-output (IO) analysis and computable general equilibrium (CGE) modeling. His research focuses on trade policy, climate change, and economic development in South Asia. He has developed an export-oriented IO dashboard and conducted advanced CGE simulations for trade policy, digital transformation, and climate adaptation in Pakistan. Dr. Zeshan advises ministries, think tanks, and academic institutions globally, including Purdue University’s Global IO Modeling Network, and serves as an expert member on non-tariff barriers chaired by Nobel Laureate Professor Dr. Cass Sunstein of Harvard Law School.
